Situated in one of the more protected, lower-lying estate vineyards on the ancient seabed of the San Pablo Bay, La Cruz is defined by its mineral-rich clay soils. The wines from this vineyard tend to have good acidity and concentrated flavours with floral, perfumed aromatics. This 2018 is bright with aromas of lilac, rose and dusty earth. The palate is red fruit, cranberry, strawberry and rhubarb. It is both structured and elegant with balanced tannins, fruit and acidity.
