There’s a through-line of aromatic mineral brightness in the graphite and wet slate character, infused with violets, creme de cassis and blueberry. The powerful, soaring tannins are neatly compact, creating a solid foundation to support all this wonderfully pure, dark and enticing fruit. The estate is tucked into its own valley behind Odette and near Quixote.
