Medium-bodied yet immensely stylish and polished, it offers impressive depth, with layered red fruit and juicy acidity framed by smoked paprika and a finish that seems to last forever. Deep power, fantastic concentration and a perfect balance of acidity and soaring tannins. Contains a dash of Merlot. Comes from a 4.07ha block, the highest on the property, sitting at 457m in volcanic, iron-rich soils. Aged for 24 months in roughly 60%–70% new French oak.
