The 2021 Stuhlmuller Vineyards Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was made by winemaker Zac Childer. The fruit for this wine comes from various benchland and hillside blocks within their estate vineyard, featuring clones like Clone 337, Clone 7, and selections from older plantings​. 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Petit Verdot were aged 18 months in 50% new French oak. Stuhlmuller Vineyards is a family-owned winery in the Alexander Valley, on the southwestern edge near the Russian River. It encompasses about 150 acres, focusing on estate-grown wines such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Zinfandel.
