Made from Vermentino – known as Rolle in the Rhône Valley and also widely planted in Corsica and Sardinia – this wine comes from two small blocks on the Tablas Creek estate vineyard, certified ROC and biodynamic. The nose is initially shy, revealing saline, briny notes alongside citrus and stone fruit. On the palate, lemon rind and distinctive citrus character lead into ripe stone fruit with a touch of pineapple. Mineral-driven and beautifully fresh, this is a natural partner for Ligurian cuisine, from seafood to pesto pasta.
