100% Sauvignon Blanc sourced from 32-year-old vines at the Crocker Vineyard in St. Helena, aged for nine months in French oak (15% new). The wine is bright and crisp, teeming with energy and drive. Fragrant cedarwood nuances meet mouth-puckering lime and lemon, layered with white flowers, crushed Marcona almonds and a sprinkling of sea-spray salinity. Super bright and crunchy, it is an ideal pairing for oysters or cheeses. The brand was founded by Dave Phinney in 2012, when Phinney and three partners purchased the G.B. Crane Vineyard in St. Helena — historically part of the Dr Crane property. The eight-acre site contains five acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Merlot, and old mixed field-blend vines. It lies directly south of Salvestrin, beginning at Highway 29 and extending west. In 2022, Vale and Leslie Miller acquired the brand and vineyard from Phinney and his partners, and the Atelier Melka team assumed winemaking responsibilities in 2023.
