From the The Glass Slipper Vineyard in Napa's Coombsville AVA, crafted by winemaker Jesse Katz. This is a tremendous follow-up to the 2019 vintage after not producing this wine in 2020 due to fires. The 2021 is fresh and racy, lifting out of the glass with black currant fruit laced with spearmint and nuanced by sandalwood. Plush and full-bodied with blackberry and black cherry fruit, elegant, fine-grained tannins, and wonderful minty freshness that turns more dried eucalyptus and carries through the long finish.
