This Pinot is from a site to the west of the ridge, at an elevation of 2300 ft, the only site for Fogarty with true western exposure. &nbsp;It features all California heritage clones, including Mt. Eden, Swan, and Rochioli. There are notes of fir tips, red florals, exotic Moroccan spice, wild mint and tarragon. There’s a playful ripeness of the heritage clones that melds nicely with the savoury garrigue, bay leaf and notes of coyote brush, all elements of the unique western ridge Santa Cruz Mountains garrigue.
