The Windy Hill Vineyard is located at the top of the property, replanted in 2012 at a very high density, featuring a mix of Calera, Mt. Eden, and Swan clones. Harvest is done over three to five picks. There is a lot of whole cluster in the 2023, over 50% for this finished wine. Wild garrigue and arboreal character with notes of freshly chopped cedar. On the palate, the fruit shines through with rounded notes of ripe strawberries and a mix of exotic spices, savoury mint, and ocean brine.
