The Durell Vineyard was bought by Bill Price in 1997, and is considered the birthplace of the Three Sticks project. 466 cases were made of the 2017 vintage, which marks the 20th anniversary of Three Sticks working with this site. The aromas here are woodsy, roasted and deep, showing notes of allspice, brown sugar and toasted vanilla beans. The palate is black and blue-fruited in character, with notes of black cherry compote and plum sauce.
