It is full-bodied on the palate, showcasing loamy earth and broad-shouldered, muscular tannins that possess a subtle sweetness. The wine glides to a long finish of mineral, chalk, and spice. It is in wonderful condition at 10 years of age, ready for another decade, but it is truly in its sweet spot right now.
