The 2022 Highest Beauty is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, named after the Greek meaning of ‘To Kalon.’ Crafted by veteran Napa winemaker Andy Erickson, with Tony Biagi assisting in blending, this wine blends three clones from three top blocks within To Kalon Vineyard and spent 18–20 months in 100% new French oak. It opens with bright Bing cherry, layered with violet and rose petal aromatics, underpinned by a distinct ironstone minerality. Full-bodied and plush, the palate unfolds with juicy cherry and plum fruit, intertwined with exotic brown spices, perfumed florals, and soaring tannins. The extravagant finish lingers with wet slate minerality and wild sagebrush, delivering remarkable depth, complexity, and an unmistakable expression of To Kalon Vineyard.
