Kenward has always admired Cabernets emanating from Pritchard Hill, which is home to celebrated producers such as Colgin and Chappellet; the very steep Melanson Vineyard lies close to Colgin. The nose is taut and spicy, with herbal blackcurrant aromas. Opulent and full-bodied, it also has fine acidity that gives tension and zest. The finish is firm, chocolatey and long.
