This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced exclusively from Blocks 4 and 7 of the iconic Vine Hill Ranch Vineyard in the southernmost reaches of Oakville. Fermented with native yeasts in tank and aged in French oak, the 2023 is strikingly fresh, a clear reflection of the cooler vintage. There is a distinct forest-inflected coolness to the aromatics, layered with graphite minerality, sagebrush and refined whispers of new-wood cedar. Palate-etching tannins carry a cocoa-powder freshness, framing vibrant fruit density and a spectrum of red, black and blue fruit. Subtle Indian and Asian spice nuances weave through the core, resolving through juicy acidity.
