Attractive aromas of both fruit and fresh flowers. Oatmeal too. The palate brims with black and red currant flavours and a fruit acidity that cuts through the higher alcohol and distracts the taster with an impression of vibrancy and lift. There is nothing heavy about this wine: the Grenache red fruit is seasoned with Syrah pepper and fleshed out nicely by the Mourvèdre. The finish is only moderate in length but more appetising as a result.
