Tyler is the label of Justin WIllett, who specialises in Santa Barbara County wines from his own grapes and from those he purchases. He wants a low-key style without excessive oakiness, and the wines are bottled without fining or filtration. Dierberg is a large Santa Maria Valley vineyard with a high reputation. The nose is delicate and refined, with aromas of citrus and green apple. The attack is crisp and citric, with a fine texture, ample elegance and persistence - perhaps not hugely complex but balanced and long.
