The Leonardini Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a selection of the finest barrels from the estate vineyards, fermented and then aged in barrel for 26 months, with 65% new French oak. The wine is notably bolder and more robust than the Napa Valley Cabernet, showing a deeper, inkier profile with darker cherry and blackberry fruit, hints of kirsch, and pronounced espresso-bean and toasted-caramel notes. Full-bodied on the palate, it layers black fruit, fig, and blue fruit nuances with salted dark chocolate. The tannins are intensely ripe and powerful, yet resolve nicely, carrying through to a long, graphite-laced finish. Unfined, unfiltered, vegan, and gluten-free.
