A two-barrel selection drawn from the winery’s finest lots and crafted by Jason Moulton, V de V takes its name from the inclusion of all five Bordeaux varieties: 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot, 6% Merlot, 5% Malbec and 2% Cabernet Franc. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, the wine is also vegan and gluten-free. Full-bodied and brightly layered, it opens with refined cedarwood and ripe mixed red berry fruit. Ultra-fine, velvety tannins lend shape and polish as blue and black fruit unfold, joined by a savoury core of earth and pine, graphite and a dusting of unsweetened cocoa powder.
