A lovely Syrah from the iconic Qupé label, which is now part of the Vintage Wine Estates portfolio. Infused with dark fruit aromatics, black olive and fragrant oak spices, which make appearances on the palate. Tight-knit, oozing with juicy blackberry, vanilla, dried violets, blueberries and tangy blood orange acidity. Sourced from vineyards as far south as Santa Ynez Valley, north to the Adelaids District in Paso Robles. Treated to 16 months of ageing in François Frères Burgundy barrels, of which 15% is new.
