Bursting with a lovely, classic Cabernet nose of blackberry fruit, tobacco spices, graphite and sweet cedar as more of the same emerge on the medium-bodied palate and capsicum notes capped off by slivers of dark chocolate. It’s a lovely easy-drinking Cabernet with the kind of grip you’d expect from fruit grown in the Chalk Hill AVA. Founded in 1992 by Bob and Renée Stein, Notre Vue Estate produces Notre Vue and Balverne wines from its estate vineyards. The winemaker is Alex Holman.
