Finger Lakes

Medium

Natural Cork

This is Forge’s first Cabernet Franc bottling from Bellows, its home estate and one of four single vineyards in the Seneca Lake AVA that the winery uses for Cabernet Franc. This red opens with lifted floral notes of violet, alongside dark raspberries and fresh strawberries. The palate combines power and elegance, with rich tannins softened by a velvety texture and bright, integrated acidity. Layers of dark red berries, blueberries and cocoa powder unfold with impressive depth, complemented by a subtle streak of salinity. Concentrated and balanced, this wine is powerful but light on its feet. The finish is remarkably long, with the structure and complexity for cellaring.
