This Hickory Hollow Cabernet Franc is full of fruit and freshness in a Loire style. The aromas start with notes of blackcurrant and mint and end with a savoury edge. There is typical Finger Lakes freshness and a crisp texture from the use of some whole bunches, but there is also rewarding ripeness and density. The 11 months in French oak bring just a hint of spice to round out the finish.
