Hosmer is located on Lake Cayuga's lightly sloping western shores, where the Dijon-clone vines have been grown on the estate Patrician Verona Vineyard since the 1980s. The wine was fermented on selected yeasts for nine days to produce a light, ethereal wine with a bright pomegranate and rhubarb fruit and a distinctly floral edge. The texture is fresh and light, and the wine could be chilled to good effect for summer drinking.
