Winemaker Byron Elmendorf decided to harvest early to save the year’s crop from the wet and cool 2021 growing season. The result is a light and refreshing, lower ABV carbonic style Pinot Noir best served with a chill—the satisfying crunch of the first red cherries of the season. Flavours of tart red berries dance with orange peel, fresh mint and a hint of thyme. A zesty acidity leads to a very crushable wine, perfect for summertime on the Long Island Sound.
