Though Milea Estate Vineyard is located in the Hudson River region, the fruit for this Pinot Noir is sourced from the Niagara Escarpment AVA. The location (which benefits from the moderating effects of Lakes Erie and Ontario) grows less than four hectares of the grape. Soft aromatics of strawberries, cherries and forest floor. The fresh, acidic bite of cranberries. 14 months in neutral oak offers unopposing tannins on the palate. Easy drinking–reminiscent of Beaujolais. A delicious pairing with pizza or charcuterie.
