The marvellous east-facing slopes of Sheldrake Point in shale soils of Lake Cayuga regularly produce some of the most incise, concentrated fruit in the region. The Acid Head Riesling, done in a dry style, shows a bracing mix of lime, peach and mineral aromas. The 10.3g/l acidity is balanced with just a drop of the must of the ice wine to provide 11g/l of residual sugar. Concentrated, superbly balanced and complex.
