This Bordeaux blend based on Cabernet Franc (with 13% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Merlot) has a lovely, forward black fruit aroma with a floral edge. The texture is firm and tannic but not astringent, with a silky, pleasant structure that should open relatively soon. The focus in the vineyard is preserving the soil microbiome, and the work is done sustainably throughout. The grapes are fermented gently before ageing in used casks. Lovely and approachable.
