A bone-dry bottling from the Finger Lakes, this example is light, linear and loaded with angularity. (I do love alliteration.) Minerality dominates the aromatics, accented by ample wet stone, crushed chalk and hints of grapefruit zest. The palate remains true with a light, bright citrus fruit and generous slate minerality. The finish trails off a touch early.
