The team at Hermann J Weimer took over the Standing Stone vineyard on the eastern shore of Seneca Lake in 2017. One of their most innovative offerings is this exotic non-vintage rosé from the Saperavi grape (native to the Republic of Georgia). Saperavi has coloured juice, so no skin contact is used to create this lovely hue. Fermented on native yeasts, this boasts a savoury, brambly edge to the mulberry fruit. The deep colour and forward fruit shout out 'fun!'
