New York was riddled with rain in 2021 and this wine is a bright point in an otherwise challenging vintage. The grapes benefited from a slightly warmer microclimate on Seneca lake’s east side, often referred to as the Banana Belt. A longer hang time resulted in ripe stone fruit and herbal aromatics, and striking acidity.
