This wine is a blend of four sites in the Chehalem Mountains AVA. The grapes are hand-harvested and whole-cluster-pressed before fermentation in large and small French casks (32% new). The wine is aged twelve months in barrel and a further five in tank before bottling to deliver this wine with notes of acacia flower and citrus peel on the nose and a lively, fresh texture on the palate with outstanding balance, and a complexity that is not overwhelmed by the oak.
