Planted in 1999, the 5ha vineyard with south-southeast oriented vine rows, this 2018 vintage marks the winery's 20th anniversary and this particular bottling's inaugural debut. The warm 2018 vintage resulted in a fairly shy wine – the aromatics of petrichor, lemon pith, and brine mixed with smoky flint notes. The palate is lithe, vibrant and fresh. Vivid mineral flavours of crushed granite and wet slate make way for notes of grilled citrus and briny oyster shells. It is finished with dried chamomile flowers and a hint of white pepper.
