Farmed and shaped by winegrower Robert Brittan, the site is defined by fractured volcanic rock, steep and shifting aspects, and the steady influence of the Van Duzer winds. Clones: Swan, Wädenswil, Pommard, Calera, Mt. Eden, 115. Bright and dark at the same time, with rich forest berry character, confier, and elegant cedarwood spices. Medium-bodied, fuelled by tart cherry fruit, blood orange acidity with a sanguine-like quality, and elegant rose petal and tense, grippy tannins on the lengthy mineral-scented finish.
