A wonderful bottling from the Brooks Estate Vineyard, old vine Pommard clone Pinot Noir that was planted in 1973. The concentrated dark fruit character comes through in an elegant, understated manner. Tangy blackberries, mint, sweet violet, and spicy chicory root create a compelling combination.  The palate is a stunning combination of rich fruit woven elegantly with savoury spice and mineral edges. Layers of red and blue bramble fruits, white peppercorn and green tea are framed with fine tannin and a delicate lingering finish.
