Nice toasty note on the nose, accenting lively aromas of lemon and green apple, plus a little marshmallow. The palate delivers flavours of lemon and baked apple, along with an energetic effervescence and a bright finish. This multi-vintage bubbly comes from Eugene winemaking doyen Ray Walsh, who came from New Zealand in the 1990s to make wine at King Estate. Sourced from the Equinox Vineyard in Crow and the Bellpine Vineyard in Junction City, this sparkling wine spent four years on the lees.
