It's mostly Syrah and Grenache with lesser parts Cinsault and Viognier, a blend of all the varieties on the SJR estate vineyard in the Rocks District AVA. Stunningly floral on the nose with all of the umami and depth you come to expect from the Rocks in Oregon's Walla Walla Valley. With aromas of desiccated violets, black olives and brine and smoky notes of soy, the palate flashes delicacy with red and purple fruits. Grilled olives and charred orange peel with a mineral core of smoked sea salt and crushed basalt. Like all the Delmas wines, this wine is a standout of elegance from the Rocks AVA.
