Nice aromas of ripe pear, faint golden apple and melon, with a touch of citrus and marshmallow. The wine is plump and full on the palate, with ripe pear, a gentle salinity and hints of bitter almond skin and lemon pith. A nice mouthwatering acidity keeps it lively. Sourced from young vines (planted 2019) on Domaine Divio’s Clos Gallia Estate Vineyard (51%) and the Balsall Creek Vineyard (49%). Unoaked, no malolactic fermentation. This is a delightful wine to pair with seafood or a warm afternoon. 12.7% abv.
