This is the domaine's current release, made from vines planted between 1988 and 2012. Grown on deep Jory soils, gently extracted and matured in oak (20% new) this is all about fruit: it opens with a note of luscious, slightly smoky ripe cherry, verging into almost black fruit. The palate opens with juicy, exuberant black cherry and more subtle smoke. Ripeness and generosity are checked by lovely freshness and a supple body that help to define that fleshy fruit.
