Perched above the Rocks District, on the Oregon side of the Walla Walla Valley, Southwind sits in the larger SeVein vineyard complex. This wine is intensely aromatic, with dark plums, dried sage and effusive eucalyptus notes. The palate is full, yet amply structured, as spicy black plums, black pepper corn and warm spices take on chewy, dense tannins and a spicy finale.
