Score Range 96-97. Evening Land’s new winemaker, John Faulkner, put this together from the Seven Springs Estate Vineyard on the eastern slopes of the Eola-Amity Hills where vines are planted in weathered basaltic clay. Harvest started 9/17/2024. Pure fruit aromas of crunchy red-skinned fruits, florals, and subtle leather spices. Lovely on the palate, racy with pine-forest accents, clove, and coriander, hints of white pepper and crushed slate, lovely, grippy apple-skin tannins mingle with crushed cocoa-nib nuances on the long, slick tangerine-oil finish. Balanced, expressive, and a joy to drink. A limited special auction lot bottling for the 2026 Willamette Valley Wine Auction.
