I love the taut vibrancy of this Pinot Noir bottling which is from an exposed, ridge-top portion of the site. Healthy amounts of whole clusters are used in the production, however the wine gives a showy notion of purity in its effusive aromatics of lavender and fresh dirt, pine sap and sweet wild strawberries. It's young, the palate is a touch wound-up on opening, but its elegance and refinement are clear. Tense saline minerality frames wild strawberries, freshly chopped mint and a gorgeous array of wild alpine herbs. Built for longevity.
