A beautiful, glinting Chardonnay, a study in mineral purity and saline crunch. From the exposed ridge top vineyard of marine sedimentary soil. The Richard’s Cuvée is from a single, dry-farmed acre planted to four different Chardonnay clones in 1995. An aromatic light show, with smoky flint, grilled lemon wedge and intense ocean brine. The palate balances electric minerality with a lush texture. Lemon pastry cream is lifted up by seafoam, savoury lemon verbena and just a dash of white pepper.
