From the high-density hillside vineyards planted in 2008. The fruit is fermented without destemming and aged in used casks. It shows an incredible concentration with an inky dark colour and very pronounced aromas that range from cassis, fig and chocolate to savory notes touched with bacon fat. The texture is dense, almost thick, and the finish has a sweet, honeyed character that plays up the density.
