The wine’s backstory reads: ‘Forget Houston – this mission begins in the red soils of Dundee. After decades of keeping satellites in orbit, Bill Kolb turned his precision toward something far more unpredictable: Pinot Noir. Mission Control tells the story of a man who traded data for dirt, algorithms for intuition, and found balance between the two.’ Bold and powerful, showing resonant reductive notes alongside orange peel, crushed almond character, and marzipan nuances. Ripe, sweet tea-like tannins provide structure and carry the wine through to a nicely spiced finish. Drink now and over the next three to five years.
