This is the 2022 bottling of a special Chenin Blanc from the imaginative winemaking duo Bree and Chad Stock. It is full-bodied and phenolic with an umami-driven botrytis-derived character that makes it all the more captivating—sourced from 50-year-old vines in the Eola Springs Vineyard. Aromas of rich honey, sour ale and pollen give way to waxy, savoury palate. Grilled lemon, chamomile and candied ginger flavours looking at the 2021 shows that this wine will evolve nicely in a year and even more over the course of 3-4.
