Winemaker Julia Cattrall’s namesake wine is a rich and creamy affair, with aromas and flavours that tip toward savoury. Sautéed button mushrooms, earth, pine needles and lemongrass soup made with chicken highlight the nose. Flavours of brioche, hazelnuts and chamomile tea are more like a Willamette Valley Chardonnay than Pinot Gris. The wine has modest acidity and a buttery texture.
