The Pepper Bridge Cabernet, with bits of Merlot and other varietals, comes from five different Walla Walla sites on the Oregon side of the AVA. This 2014 wine is lively and gracefully shows its age with sweet tobacco leaves, turned earth, and lovely tones of rich Luxardo cherries. The palate shows how lively this wine remains, as an impressive freshness buoys candied blueberries, rich raspberry reduction, and deep chocolate tones.
