Cody Wright founded Purple Hands in 2005, producing wine from the Latchkey estate vineyard and bought-in fruit. Kropf vineyard is a tiny site in the Dundee Hills on volcanic soils, planted exclusively to the intense Dijon 115 clone. The wine has supple raspberry fruit with a hint of spice. The texture is beautifully silky and fresh, with a crystalline purity and elegant extraction of fine-grained tannins.
