This wonderful wine is a show of dedication of winemaker Rollin Soles to the sparkling arts of the Willamette Valley. Rich and opulent aromas that harken to sparkling wines made in a particular part of northern France are all over this wine: biscuit, candied ginger, and almond cream aromas. The Delayed Disgorgement 10 Year doesn't roll off the tongue, but instead, this wine lingers long, with a depth of ripe honeyed fruit and toasted brioche. Soles' dedication to a long tirage shows the real possibility that the Willamette Valley may add sparkling wines to the global reputation of world-class wine production.
