This 2019 Blanc de Blancs blends Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc from a Purple Hands site in the Dundee Hills. Both varieties were picked together, pressed, and fermented in a mix of oak (82%) and stainless steel (18%). The cool growing season set up perfectly for sparkling wines, with high acidity and lower sugar levels. The nose is beguiling, with creamy lemon curd, brioche, and sweet peaches. On the palate, it's ripe and fleshy. A blend of reduction and malolactic, with a lengthy tirage (56 months), gives this wine great texture.
